Who will clean my home?
Our carefully selected, vetted and trained staff work in teams of two. This ensures the work is carried out effectively and efficiently. We endeavour to ensure that the same team leader takes responsibility for your clean each time. Of course none are allowed to eat, smoke or use appliances while in or around your home.
When can I have my home cleaned?
We offer our domestic cleaning services Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8.00am and 4.00pm. Whilst we do not offer bank holiday or weekend cleaning services on a regular basis, we may be able to arrange this on an occasional basis.
Does Clean Sweep have insurance?
Of course. We have specialist cleaning contractor insurance, which includes public and employer liability cover, accidental damage and also keyholder insurance. If you require any further details, just ask.
Do I need to be at home when the cleaners are there?
Not at all, though you should feel comfortable being at home if you choose. We operate a strict security system for your keys and alarm codes so you can relax while you’re out and about.
What happens when I give you a key to my property?
You will receive a key receipt from the team leader, and any keyrings will be returned to you. All of the keys we hold are attached to a very simple Clean Sweep key fob, with our contact details and a code number on, and they are then locked away in our key safe. The key code numbers are allocated on a daily basis and the team leaders sign each key out in the morning and then once they are returned to the key safe they are signed back in.
What do I need to leave out for the cleaners?
Absolutely nothing! We come fully prepared for each clean with a full cleaning kit, including vacuum cleaners, mops & buckets, cloths and sponges, and a range of professional cleaning products. If you prefer us to use your cleaning products, just let us know.
What cleaning products do you use?
We use a variety of cleaning products, chosen for their effectiveness. Rather than use products from just one range, we have chosen a number of products, including Jangro & Envirojangro professional cleaning products, CitraClean and Astonish. None of our products are harsh, and wherever possible we use eco-friendly products.
What about my pets?
We love pets! It would be great if you could introduce the team to your pets during the first clean, and maybe show them where the treats are kept, so that when the team returns they can offer them a treat before starting the clean. We will happily refill water bowls or water bottles, top up food bowls and let animals out into secured areas.
How much will it cost?
It will all depend on how long your clean is and how frequently you would like us to visit. Our minimum clean is a two hour clean (two cleaners with you for one hour, equating to two cleaning hours) and on a weekly basis this costs £41.28 inc VAT.
How can I pay?
We make it nice and easy for our clients to pay! You can pay cash or cheque to the team who will then bring it back to Clean Sweep HQ, you can pop a cheque in the post, we can take all major credit and debit cards over the phone, and on our invoice are our bank details for online transfer. We can also help you set up a monthly standing order payment. All invoices are due for payment within 7 days of date of issue.
How do I arrange any special requests or changes?
Just drop us an email or give us a call in the office. It helps us with our scheduling if you can give us as much notice as possible.
If you need to cancel a clean, please give us as much notice as possible. If we have less than 24 hours’ notice we may be obliged to charge you some or all of the full price as we are unable to reassign the team on such short notice.
Do I have to sign a contract?
We operate some simple terms and conditions, which we ask you to sign after your first clean when you’re happy we’re the domestic cleaning company for you! The terms and conditions set out our payment terms, notice periods for any changes or cancellations, insurance & liability, and provide you with business information about Clean Sweep.
If there is a problem, what do I do?
Our reputation depends on the high standards we set ourselves, so if there is a problem we take it very seriously. In the unlikely event of any concern, please call the office within 24 hours or drop us an email and we will do everything possible to rectify it.

We offer an oven cleaning service as part of our regular cleaning service. We use, and highly recommend Oven Pride.
We don’t take your clothes out of your property or put them in a van with lots of other people’s clothes, we simply iron them in your home.
We tailor our domestic cleaning to the client’s requirements which we understand may vary from week to week.
